These terms cover your use of DinnerRoster. Using the service means you accept them.
What the service is
DinnerRoster helps a household choose dinners, plans a seven-night week around them, and produces one grocery list sized for that household. It creates and maintains the list; it does not place grocery orders and does not tie you to any store.
Your account
You can pick dinners and preview a week without an account. Using that week — the grocery list, guided cooking, feedback and sharing — needs a free account. You must be 18 or older and give an email address you control. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anyone you invite into your household. An invited adult sees your week and your grocery list.
What it costs
Your first week is free and needs no payment method. When you build a second week you choose a plan: $9.99 per month, or $59.99 per year. There is no trial period and no card is stored before you subscribe. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that may apply.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; access continues until the end of the period you already paid for, and we do not pro-rate partial periods. If a payment fails we may suspend access to paid features.
Recipes, food safety and nutrition
Recipes, cooking times, quantities and nutrition figures are provided for planning and are estimates. Nutrition values are calculated, not laboratory-measured, and will vary with brands and substitutions. Allergen labels describe a recipe as written — always read the labels on the products you actually buy, and check cross-contact warnings if someone in your household has an allergy.
You are responsible for cooking food safely, including cooking to safe internal temperatures. Nothing in DinnerRoster is medical, dietary or nutritional advice. If someone in your household has a medical condition or a food allergy, speak to a qualified professional.
Acceptable use
Do not resell or redistribute the recipe catalog, scrape the service, attempt to break its security or access other households' data, or use it to break the law. We may suspend accounts that do.
Our content and yours
The recipes, photography, text and software are ours or licensed to us, and are for your household's personal use. Anything you add — your picks, your notes, your grocery items — stays yours; you give us only the permission needed to operate the service for you.
Availability
We work to keep DinnerRoster running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change as the product develops.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, DinnerRoster is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing support@dinnerroster.com. We may end the agreement if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will say so on this page and update the date above. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
